SAUSAGE
Looking for something quick and easy to make that is sure to be a hit? Try sausage dip! This warm, cheesy goodness only uses three ingredients. If you only want a hint of spice, choose mild Rotel and mild sausage. If you like it hot, opt for the spicier versions of each. Alternatively, sausage wantons make great finger foods. They are no-fuss and full of flavor - watch them vanish as soon as you put them out!

GROUND BEEF
Another excellent farm store is Klymer Ridge Farm in Thomasville. They raise delicious grass-fed beef with sustainable agriculture practices. Interesting!!
The narcissist lacks empathy: is unwilling to recognize or identify with the feelings and needs of others.
The American Psychiatric Association's DSM-IV
Lack of empathy is one of the most striking features of people with narcissistic personality disorder. It's a hallmark of the disorder in the same way that fear of abandonment is in borderline personality disorder.
"Narcissists do not consider the pain they inflict on others; nor do they give any credence to others' perceptions," says Dr. Les Carter in the book Enough of You, Let's Talk About Me (p. 9). "They simply do not care about thoughts and feelings that conflict with their own." Do not expect them to listen, validate, understand, or support you.

MY THOUGHT FOR TODAY:
Everything will go OK today during the transition, NO civil war or confrontation, and WE as Americans will survive remembering 9/11 and what we were like on 9/10 and how we were on 9/12 when we became united and our Patriotism shown everywhere.  You and I make our future  where we are and each one of us is responsible in bringing back the morals to our country and more importantly bringing back God and being good Missionaries where we are at and introducing God the Father to those around us!

For some a comfort zone is watching television, for some it is planning a meal, for some just sitting around the house or going shopping or being on a social media, etc.  I have and still call that a rut and it will make your stay on ole Earth seem short as one day you will say, "Where has time gone"?  A rut is doing the same thing over and over everyday, never stepping out of that comfort zone.  Sometimes it might even seem like a comfortable prison without even realizing it. Do something your not use to today.  Go see an old friend, meet someone for coffee or lunch.  Volunteer to help an organization that helps others.  Your page in your diary of life is blank right now, put something in it that you will be able to look back at it someday and remember how great it made you feel.  It's up to you and I.

I think one thing we need to get back to or start, is quit playing sports politics and religion. Some treat their political party better than they do God and even spend more time with it. It's kinda like this is my team and you are my opponent, regardless of our friendship. Basically the same way in religion; I am of this denominaton and you belong to another, so you are my opponent. I am not trying to even act like I am holier than thou, just trying to make a point of how easy it is to get into a rut of choosing sides in our lives and then making life harder for all and being a bad testimony to those looking on. Humility is a lost art and it seems today its all about individualism and separation. Does anyone remember the Golden Rule anymore? How are we going to win in battles against the evil one if we side with him through proxy?

WELL HERE IT IS JANUARY 13TH 2025 AND NC IS RECOVERING FROM THE FIRST BIG SNOW OF THE YEAR.  ALMOST 2 INCHS AND JUST ABOUT EVERYTHING WAS CLOSED.  SCHOOLS, CHURCHES, RESTARUANTS, ETC.  AND AS I LOOK BACK IN MY CHILDHOOD, REMEMBERING GOING TO SCHOOL WITH 10-15 INCHS ON THE GROUND.  SO MUCH HAS CHANGED OVER THE YEARS AND MAYBE NOT ALL GOOD.

WE WILL BE GETTING OUT OF THE HOUSE AND GOING TO WORK THIS MORNING FOR THE FIRST TIME SINCE FRIDAY AND SO LOOKIING FORWARD TO IT.  OF COURSE WE DO HAVE BLACK ICE AND IT SEEMS THE SNOW PACKS TIGHT ON THE ROADS WHEN IT DOES ITS THING.

OF COURSE MY WIFE MADE SOME DYNAMITE TACO SOUP THAT REALLY WAS SOOOOO GOOD.  BUT NOW I'M READY FOR A BURGER AND FRIES.  YOU KNOW, WHAT MAKES AMERICA GREAAAAT.

SERIOUSLY, I THINK WE WILL START SEEING A WHOLE LOT OF COMMERICIALS ON TV THAT WILL SAY ; RED DYE FREE!   I BELIEVE ROBERT KENNEDY WILL CHANGE THE WAY WE EAT TO A HEALTHIER LIVESTYLE.  HERE IN AMERICA, IT SEEMS ALL WE CARE ABOUT IF IT TASTES GOOD AND FILLING UP OUR BELLIES.

OH WELL UNTIL TOMORROW; TAKE CARE AND REMEMBER YOUR GREATEST INVESTMENT ISN'T STOCKS AND BONDS OR ANYTHING ELSE CONCERNING MONEY.  YOUR GREATEST INVESTMENT IS YOUR HEALTH.  OVER AND OUT!

I remember a few years back some men would get together and play slow pitch softball,

I remember a few years back and some men would get together and watch basketball and football games as the wives would cook a meal or the men would grill something for all,

I remember a few years back when our Church would go to High Rock Lake on a Saturday and catch a bunch of crappie and we would fry it up outside after Church at a friends house that lived on the lake,

I remember a few years back when the men would get together and watch each others favorite college basketball team play against each other and there was usually hot wings or chikin involved,

I remember a few years back when it didn't matter who played in the Super Bowl as the men got together and watched it and the women had a chance to catch up life,

I remember a few years back when all Church's had a Saturday morning Breakfast for just the men,

I remember a few years back when the Men that were in the Church bus Ministry would go out as the Bus Captain and visit neighborhoods to invite kids to Sunday School,

I remember when the Men as Deacon's would visit the elderly and make sure any children were taken care of, and needs were met,

I remember when men talked on the phone instead of creating a brand on social network,

That moment when you are texting and your fat little fingers are bigger then the keyboard on your phone and after backspacing and autocorrecting and spending a good amount of time putting it together and you leave and wait for an answer and a couple hours later you never heard back, so you go to the original message to see if you got a response without notification and BOOM!!!

You find out you forgot to hit the send button!

When I was in school we had this:
1. The Ten Commandments were still hanging on school walls.
2. Students were taught the moral absolutes derived from the Ten Commandments.
3. For the most part, parents and teachers were examples.
Parents weren't suing schools for disciplining their kids.
4. We didn't teach kids that they were descended from animals, so they had no excuse to act like it. They were not allowed to set their own standards
.
5. If a crime was committed, nobody blamed the firearm. They blamed the person using the firearm
.
6. Moral upbringing. Belief in God. Since time began we were terrifically made with a void for God to fill. When that vacancy is there, and we don't allow God to fill it, something will fill that vacancy. It will be drugs, alcohol, violence, anger, bitterness, rebellion, witchcraft, sex, everything that is totally opposite of God's word. If you come up with a better answer and solution than prayer and better laws to abide by than God's law, let me know. We need to try and get prayer back in school where it belongs.

We live in a era that seems to have all of the answers to life.  Folks get so wrapped up in themselves and miss some of the greatest opportunities to lend a helping hand to those who just need a kind word or two.  There's a lot of self worship out there and very little humility.  God seems to have been put on the back burner and is only called on during a time of crisis or hurt.  Let's make a pact!  Let's start today in putting others first and paying all that has been done for each of us pay it forward..  To change America, it has to start in our homes.  To change our lives it has to starting by not using God only as a life preserver.  Prayers work!  Ask Sher!!

Well here it is January 4th, 2025 and we are getting predictions of our first snow tonight, so it looks like the Foodlions and Walmart is gonna be busy today.  I have been out on a job when there was 30 inch's of snow on the ground.  My favorite season is the Spring time, cookouts, working in the yard and rearranging the inside of our home.

The above ad is owned by a long time friend Tyanna LeBeau.  She as been in the business for as long as I can remember and is excellent in her work.  You might want to call her now and get an estimate so you can plan on having one installed.

I have sat down and interviewed so many celebrities over the years, from Heavyweight Champions, to Movie Stars, TV Stars, Governors, Senators, Congressman, Legends of Wrestling and had some in our home. Was sent to Germany right after Elvis was rotated back and ate in the same mess hall and was in the same motor pool where he was stationed in Frankfurt, Was in an hour TV special many years ago that was about our youth Ministry at the time. Have been in 10 different countries by troop ship and airplanes and lived in 4 different states and so much more. But the one that changed my life wasn't one of these people or places, wasn't money or any kind of fame, It was Jesus Christ. The residence and mansion he is providing for me in Heaven is unmatched and can't be found here. You can chase rainbows and your dream all your life, but until you meet him, it is all for nought. He is the anti-depressant, the dream maker (that comes true) and problem solver and marriage mender. He is the relationship builder and protector. The Father controls your next breath and heart beat and holds your gifts for you to use. He is the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the Rose of Sharon, bright and shinning star. How much does this cost you say? It's all free, just by asking him to forgive you and be your Savior and follow him. It won't matter what this world throws at you, he is there, and sometime all you will see is his footsteps in the sand, where he carried you. Thank you Jesus!!

This may contain: an old year cartoon with the caption before you go inside, give me a chance to explain the mess

I don't know about you but I am going to start out this year with nothing but positive thoughts and actions.  We live in the greatest country in the world and have more freedoms than most, even though there are some that take it to the extreme.

We started out the 1st having a traditional New Years breakfast with out good friends Ann and Roby and then we also got invited to a wonderful dinner with Greg and Wonder Woman.

Always remember if you do the same thing today as you did yesterday, expect the same results tomorrow.  So many folks get in a rut and eventually feel like they have no sense of value.  Believe me, I don't care what kind of job you have, you make America work  Get out and do something you're not use to doing, get out of that comfort zone and contribute your experience in life to help others.  Remember you are what make Church and America work.

Well, here we are the last day of 2024.  Today I'm getting some brakes put on our van since they will be carrying a very big load of papers Thursday.  Of course if you watch a lot of TV, just about everything is reruns .  Some think they have to have some alcolohol tonight to have fun.   WRONG!  I Can't remember when i had a drink at New Years Eve.  And very seldom does all the shotgun and firewords ever wake me up.
I get more exited about that New Year's meal for good luck for the year.  And then of course starting my annual diet, right after breakfast.  Gained 19 lbs in 15 years by sticking to that plan.
  WHAT'S YOUR PLANS???

I am so glad I got free from trying to be something I'm not. So many rocks being thrown out there from the same old crowd that's been around for over 2000 years. I'm just an old sinner saved by Grace and I am what I am. Perfection won't come until the groom comes after his bride. And I am not saying that being saved give's anybody a license to sin. We must remember all have sinned but Jesus, and so far I haven't seen anyone on this planet that even comes close.  Be real and remember when you say something unkind to someone, you don't know what just happened in their life.  They might have just lost a loved one, physical pain, they might have some bad memories that are keeping them down.  Return Love and forgiveness to those folks as Jesus did for us!

It's kind of hard to believe we are just a few days away from the year 2025.  So much happening around the world, yet here in NC are so many festivals and celebrations going on.  And of course the biggest one is the Lexington BBQ Festival which is on the 3rd Saturday in October.

It seems like there was a Christmas parade in every big and little town in Davidson County and always lots of fun to watch and then getting to watch the little ones laughing and giggling and of course going out to get that candy being thrown out on the streets.

It's really joy for the families to get together and of course a whole lot of food and snacks and like ours, we play secret Santa.  It's always a healthy healing in our souls to sit back and recall the good times decades ago with lots of laughter.  The Bible says;  A merry heart doeth good like a medicine.

Always reach out to each other and let not anger or pride stop your joy.  Remember who the enemy is and that is ole slewfoot which walketh about seeking whom he may devour.  LOVE AND PEACH OUT!

I am going to make a statement that many of you will disagree with on guns.  It will take something bigger and more catastrophic than what we have seen before they even consider taking our guns.  There has always been buy backs and news frenzys that fuel the fire.

Remember news folks make their money off of the bad things happening to good people.  If someone has murder on their heart, they will use anything.  Cain used a rock.  We have to remember that a demonic force is real and socialpath.  Yet folks will go to the movies or watch demons on TV and call it entertainment.
