A Busy Week of Service in Thomasville

This past week has highlighted the incredible dedication and teamwork of our emergency services and city departments:

Weather-Related Accidents: Over the weekend, TPD and TF&RD personnel worked tirelessly on numerous weather-related accidents.

Marijuana Grow House: On Thursday, TPD CID and Patrol officers successfully shut down a grow house operation at Big Chair Lofts, furthering our commitment to community safety.

Chemical Leak Response: TPD responded to improper storage and leaking chemicals at 200 Mason Way. Thanks to swift action and collaboration with NC Dept. of Environmental Quality, remediation efforts are underway to ensure environmental safety.

Support for Fellow Emergency Workers: Doc and BC Waddell visited Stanley County to support emergency workers mourning the tragic loss of a paramedic, a testament to compassion and solidarity within our emergency services family.

Ongoing Projects: PW Crew and Hill Electric are making progress on the decorative light pole near the Library, ensuring our town stays bright and beautiful.
