Thelma Alice Leash January 13, 1937 - December 06, 2022
Thelma Alice Sweigart Leash, 85, of Lexington, passed away Tuesday, December 6, 2022, at Hospice of Davidson County.



A graveside service will be held 10 AM Tuesday, December 13, 2022, at Lexington City Cemetery.



The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM Monday, December 12, 2022, at Davidson Funeral Home.



Mrs. Leash was born January 13, 1937, in Mays Landing, New Jersey, to Lawrence Sweigart and Helen Jordan Sweigart. She was a member of Freedom Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Thelma was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Sylvester Leash; one granddaughter, Beverly; and one great-grandson, Robert.
Left to cherish her memory is one son, William Leash of Southmont; two daughters, Marion Harvell (Ronald) of Lexington, and Helen Leash of Siler City; five grandchildren, Alice, Brandon, Bradley, Johnny, Christopher; and seven great-grandchildren, Brandi, Beverly, Steven Jr., Lily, Johnny, Lexi, Mason, Robert, and Jamie.



In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Hospice of Davidson County 200 Hospice Way Lexington, NC 27292
