Jerry Woodrow Everhart July 23, 1940 - October 29, 2023
erry Woodrow Everhart, 83, of Lexington, passed away October 29, 2023, at his home in Lexington surrounded by his loving family.



A celebration of his life will be held at 11:00 am Friday, November 3, 2023, at Davidson Funeral Home Lexington Chapel, with the Rev Gary Gibson officiating. The family will see friends one hour before the service and burial to follow in the Forest Hill Memorial Park Cemetery.



Mr. Everhart was born July 23, 1940, in Davidson County, to Cleveland Woodrow Everhart and Eula Lee Richardson Everhart. Jerry was a plant engineer with Lexington Specialty Foods (The Jelly Factory ) the owner and operator of Everhart Landscaping and Construction and spent the last 25 years building and maintaining his rental property. He and his wife loved to ride western horses and spend time with family. They celebrated 65 years of marriage after meeting on Halloween night 1957 in downtown Lexington. His passion was his faith, church, family and especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Jerry was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, brother, who will be missed by all. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter Glenda Everhart, grandson, AJ Everhart, brother, Johnny Everhart, and sisters, Carolyn Barker and Barbara Steed.

Left to cherish his memories are his wife of 65 years, Nancy Love Everhart, of the home, son, Todd Everhart and Diana Edwards of Lexington, daughter, Denise Morris and husband Joe, of Lexington, three grandchildren, Victoria Morris, Aubrey Morris Morrison, Audrey Everhart, also surviving are his three great-grandchildren, Josiah Everhart, Bella Morris, Landon Morrison, brother, Richard Everhart, sister, Nancy Caudle both of Lexington. He will be greatly missed.
