Kathryn Fishel December 18, 1951 - May 14, 2022
Kathryn Brinkley Fishel, 70, a resident of Lexington, went home to be with her Lord on Saturday, May 14, 2022 in Alston Brook Nursing Home. She was born on December 18, 1951 in Davidson County to the late Grady Lee and Nancy Edwards Brinkley. Kathryn worked for Lexington Furniture Industries then went on to earn her certificate as a CNA. She worked for Alston Brook Nursing Home until her retirement. Kathryn was a selfless person who took care of those in need. She loved her family, especially spending time with her grandchildren. She attended Westside Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Dennis Eugene Fishel and a brother, Kenny Brinkley.

A celebration of life will be held by the family at 7:00PM on Wednesday, May 18, 2022 in Tyro United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, please direct memorials to the Tyro UMC Feast 14 fund, 4484 N NC Hwy 150, Lexington, NC 27295.
Kathryn is survived by her daughter, Misty Everhart (Michael) of Lexington; brothers, Rocky and Bobbi Brinkley, both of Lexington; a sister, Vickie Leonard of Asheboro; daughter-in-law, Tracy Fishel of Lexington; and grandchildren, Carly Alissa and Michael Chandler Everhart.
