John Scott Biesecker August 11, 1968 - November 08, 2021
John Scott Biesecker was a loving and devoted father, husband, son, brother, and friend. He left this world after a courageous battle with cancer on November 8th, 2021 at the age of 53.

Scott was born to Jack Edward Biesecker and Mary Lou Riddle on August 11th,1968. He attended Lexington Senior High School and was a proud member of the 1986 State Championship Football Team. He graduated from Guilford College where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and was a member of the football team. While there he met his future wife, Jenny Conte. Together they brought their beautiful daughter Jordan Nichole into this world.
Scott enjoyed a rewarding career as an accountant and partner with Turlington & Company LLP. Scott served as Chairman of the Lexington City Board of Education, Chairman of DavidsonWorks, and board member of Community In Schools. He served as a mentor, coach, and friend to many young adults in Lexington. While Scott created a successful life for his family through his work in the financial field, he was a passionate public servant who struggled with balancing his success with the inequities he saw in our community. We have lost a true champion for our youth.

Scott was preceded in death by his father, Jack Edward Biesecker. He is survived by his wife Jenny, daughter Jordan, mother Mary Lou Rix, stepfather Charles Rix, sister Beth Burke and husband John. Scott had a special relationship with his cousin John “Doc” Biesecker. Scott also has many nieces and nephews; Coty Burke, Jack Burke, Will Burke, Adan Conte, Ava Conte, Ainsliegh Conte, Kate Conte, and Charlie Conte. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

A funeral service is scheduled for Sunday, November 14, 2021 at Davidson Funeral Home in Lexington, North Carolina. Visitation will begin at 2:00 pm with a memorial service to follow at 3:00 pm. Family will receive friends for a continued celebration of life at the home of Scott and Jenny Biesecker following the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Project Potential of Lexington at P.O. Box 1823 Lexington, North Carolina 27293.
