Mr. Jesse Calvin Hulin, 72, of Lexington, passed away Friday, October 1, 2021 at Thomasville Medical Center. He was born on September 29, 1949 in Davidson County to the late Jesse Lee Hulin and Blanche Maxine Walker Hulin. Jesse worked for Terrell Brothers for 32 years and attended Community Baptist Church.

He was an avid fisherman, loving to fish from the pier on the coast. He also loved working on old cars and spending time with his grandchildren and his son. Along with his parents, Jesse is preceded in death by his two brothers, Jimmy Hulin, and Michael “Ike” Hulin.Surviving is his long-time girlfriend, Carrie Summey of Lexington, NC; son, Calvin Hulin and wife, (his favorite daughter) Trish of Thomasville, NC; brothers, Donald “Doody” Hulin of Lexington, NC, and Robert “Rabbit” Hulin and wife, Teresa of Lexington, NC; sisters, Patty Swaney and husband, Jesse of Denton, NC, and Brenda “Punkin” McClure and husband Chuck of Trinity, Mitzi “Fuzzy” Starnes and husband “Preacher Man” of Troy, NC; seven grandchildren, Micheal “Bubba” Hulin, Abigail “Lilly” Hulin, Jeremiah Rice, Jesse “LittleMan” Hulin, Tiffany Hulin, Ashlin “Ashley” Rice, and Katie Hulin; five great-grandchildren, Ayden Hulin, Levi Smith, Anna “Banana” Smith, Addison “Addie” Smith, and Taylen Hulin; and his special dog, Peanut.A service will be held on Wednesday, October 6, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Community Baptist Church, 385 Ernest Snider Rd. Lexington, NC. 27292, officiated by Dr. Brian Workman. Burial will follow at Jackson Creek Baptist Church. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 5, 2021 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at J C Green and Sons Funeral Home, 122 W. Main Street Thomasville, NC. 27360. In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to the building fund at Community Baptist Church, 385 Ernest Snider Rd. Lexington, NC. 27292. Online condolences may be sent to www.jcgreenandsons.com.
