Stephen Ralph Saddler August 22, 1949 - April 20, 2022
Stephen Ralph Saddler, 72, of Lexington went to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, April 20, 2022, at his home.



A Graveside service with military honors will be held at 11 am on Saturday, April 23, 2022, at Forest Hill Memorial Park with Pastor David Wooten officiating.



The family will receive friends from 6 pm until 8 pm on Friday at Davidson Funeral Home in Lexington.



Mr. Saddler was born in Mercer County, WV on August 22, 1949, to Ralph Carl Saddler and Elizabeth Miller Saddler. He was a former truck driver for Waste Management and was a member of Lakeview Baptist Church in Lexington. Mr. Saddler proudly served his country in the US Army in Vietnam and Korea and was a member of American Legion, Post 8. Mr. Saddler was a loving husband, father, brother, and grandfather whose memory will be cherished forevermore. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Campbell and Virginia Wiley.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Christine Owens Saddler; two sons, Timothy Saddler (Crystal), and Stephen Dickens (Lynn); a daughter, Kim Large (Gerold); two brothers, James Saddler (Mary), and Joseph Saddler (Elaine); one sister, Drema Tollie (Richard); two grandchildren, Baylee Saddler, and Jonathan Adams; his great-grandchildren, Dustin Shoe, Zaylean Livengood, and Gage Livengood; his fur baby, Missy Sue; and a host of nieces and nephews.



Memorials may be directed to Davidson County Cancer Services at 25 West 6th Avenue, Lexington, NC 27292 or to the American Heart Association at 7272 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75231.
