Audrey Jean Hedrick Winebarger January 20, 1931 - May 27, 2022
Audrey Jean Hedrick Winebarger, 91, of Lexington, passed away May 27, 2022, at Lexington Health Care in Lexington.



A celebration of her life will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday, May 31, 2022, at Hedrick’s Grove Reformed United Church of Christ Church where she was a member, with the Revs. David Crook and William Sowers officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:30 – 1:30 pm in the church fellowship hall, and burial will follow in the church cemetery. Other times at the home of her son on Allred Rd., Lexington.



Mrs. Winebarger was born January 20, 1931, in Davidson County, to Fred Austin Hedrick and Ella Veigh Young Hedrick, Audrey was a devoted member of the church. Audrey loved to work in her yard and attend to her flowers, making quilts and cooking sweets for everyone. Her passion was her faith, church family and especially her grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren. Audrey was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, who will be missed by all. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Evans Blane Winebarger who died February 28, 1948, son, Randy Winebarger, brothers, Bobby Ray Hedrick, Bryce Hedrick, and sisters, Willa Veigh Winebarger, and infant sister
Left to cherish her memories are her son, Keith Winebarger, daughters, Karen Parks and husband Randall, and Cecelia Kepley all of Lexington, grandchildren, Todd Kepley wife Amy, Shane Kepley wife Mandy, Gary Winebarger wife Jennifer, Ashley Keyser husband David, Caroline Swaim husband Mike, Eric Parks and wife Lindsay, great grandchildren, Sarah Kepley, Rebecca Kepley, Jessie Kepley, Katie Kepley, Joni Burris, Garrett Winebarger, Kaitlyn Swaim, Hailey Swaim, Caleb Swaim, Audrey Keyser, Shelby Keyser, Levi Keyser, great great grandchildren, Oakley Parsons, Paige Burris, Easton Winebarger, Emersyn Winebarger, and new baby girl due in September, brothers, F. Richard Hedrick and wife Janelle, John Wayne Hedrick and wife Linda, sisters, Alice Mae Story, Noretta Leonard and husband Kent, Gail Robinson all of Lexington.



In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hedrick’s Grove Reformed UCC, 3840 Allred Road, Lexington, NC 27292.
