Virginia Berrier Odom February 25, 1940 - June 01, 2022
Virginia Berrier Odom, 82, of Calvin Sowers Road in Lexington, passed away Wednesday June 1, 2022 at her home.



A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Saturday June 4, 2022 at First Baptist Church in Welcome, where she was a member, with Rev. Mark Blaire officiating services. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.



The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 Friday at Davidson Funeral Home.



Mrs. Odom was born February 25, 1940 in Davidson County to Lewie Berrier and Flora Grubb Berrier. Viginia had many passions which included gardening flower arranging, quilting, sunbathing and reading. She was a perfect compliment to Bobby’s ministry bringing children’s sermons to life and relevance for children, of the church (and adults). She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Dr.Robert Eugene Odom, her son, Leon Odom; 2 brothers, Ellis Berrier and Eddie Ray Berrier and a sister, Helen Berrier.
Surviving are two sons, Dale Odom of Lexington and Troy Odom (A.Jaye) of Lexington; two daughters, Crystal Hepler (Kevin) of Virginia and June Odom Dixon Christian) of Kernersville; two brothers, Randall Berrier and Billy Berrier; two sisters, Evelyn Hunt (Clyde) of Lexington and Edith Wallace (Danny); 7 grandchildren, Nicholaus, Stephanie, Caleb, Ashlynn, Racheal, Kyle and Casey and 5 great-grandchild, Dylan, Jaxton, Kolton, Braydon and Ophelia.



It brings a smile to our faces knowing that daddy greeted mom with a hug and a pinch on the bottom.
