Betty Lou Myers Green, 76, a resident of Lexington, passed away Sunday, November 27, 2022 in Thomasville Medical Center. Betty was born to the late Carl Cleveland and Pauline Hepler Myers on March 22, 1946; she spent much of her childhood in Erlanger. Betty was a hard worker who was beloved by her colleagues. In her younger days she loved spending time at the lake and square dancing. Betty was a generous person who loved her family immensely. She was a longtime member of Mt. Carmel Freewill Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, E.L. Green in May of 1988.

A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Thursday, December 1, 2022 at Mt. Carmel Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Darrell Cartrette and Rev. Leon Simmons officiating. Interment will follow the service in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6-8 PM at Davidson Funeral Home in Lexington.
