Carolyn Janette Mills Partin, 81, of Lexington, passed away Saturday, December 10, 2022, at Hospice of Davidson County.
A graveside service will be held 10 am Thursday, December 15, 2022, at Forest Hill Memorial Park Mausoleum with Rev. James D. Messer Jr. officiating.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 5:00 PM Wednesday, December 14, at Davidson Funeral Home.
Mrs. Partin was born April 12, 1941, in Johnson County to Hurlee Mills and Louise Benson Mills. She was a member of Pilgrim Freewill Baptist Church. Carolyn loved spending time with her family; she loved to laugh and spent much of her time taking care of her many cats. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Evey Harves Partin.

Left to cherish her memory is one son, Floyd Partin of Salisbury; four daughters, Gina Partin of Lexington, Christina Freitag of Lexington, Delphia Shoaf (Tony) of Lexington, and Wonnette Sparks (Troy) of Thomasville; one brother, Shelton Mills; nine grandchildren; and seventeen great-grandchildren.
