| Matt McDonald, 40, of Clover, SC, passed away Monday, June 5, 2023, at his residence. |
He was born June 10, 1982, in Mecklenburg Co, NC, son of Glenda McDonald and the late Ed McDonald.
Matt enjoyed fishing, working on cars, the outdoors, and he loved his family.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brother, Eddie McDonald; sister, Cathy Sanders.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his sons, Matthew Hart, and Caleb McDonald; brother, Everett McDonald; sisters, Robin Caldwell (Jason), Renee McDonald, Susan Center (Brad), and Ginger Talford (Damenion); and a number of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends, will be held 6-8pm, Wednesday, June 14, 2023, at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service – 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia, NC 28052.

A funeral service officiated by James Terry, will be held 3pm, Thursday, at the funeral home.
Burial will follow the service at Sandy Plains Baptist Church Cemetery.
