Her service extended beyond, as she dedicated two years of her life to ministry at Faith Baptist Church in Siler City, NC.Barbara's faith was exemplified in her love for missions. Alongside her husband, she embarked on journeys of faith and service, visiting places like Australia, Brazil, Africa, France, Germany, Egypt, Rome, and the Holy Land. She also demonstrated her love by planning trips for the senior adult ministry at her church. Her passion for music shone through her participation in the choir for many years. Above all, Barbara treasured family time, and in her final years of illness, she was enveloped by the love and unwavering support of her family. Barbara is reunited in eternity with her sister, Marie White, and three brothers, Junior Kiger, Donald Kiger, and David Kiger, as well as her daughter, Stephanie Schneggenburger.

She leaves behind her devoted husband of nearly 67 years, Reverend Harold Ray Fletcher, Sr. of Lexington, NC. Barbara's legacy lives on through her three loving children: Ray Fletcher (Patty), Anthony Fletcher, and Sherri Hutchens (Rick); six cherished grandchildren: Shana Ivarson (David), Staci Kiser (Jarrett), Zachary Hutchens (Kayla), Alli Calhoun (Ben), Tyler O’Dell (Tess), and Taylor Walker (Riley); thirteen great-grandchildren; and one sister, Becky Fulk (Harold).
