Rachael Audrey Shoaf October 31, 2023
Rachael Audrey Shoaf, a beloved daughter, sister, and friend, departed this world on October 31, 2023, at the young age of 28. She was born on September 8, 1995, to her loving parents, Larry Lee Shoaf and Brandy Michelle Owens, who will forever cherish the memory of their precious daughter.

Graveside service will be 12:00 PM, Monday November 6, at Cotton Grove UMC. A Celebration of Life and meal will directly follow at 1:00 PM in the Fellowship Hall at Cotton Grove UMC. Family will visit with friends Sunday evening, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington.

Rachael was a nature enthusiast at heart, and her love for the outdoors knew no bounds. She found solace and joy in the ocean's rhythmic waves, often enjoying kayaking and fishing excursions. She embraced the beauty of the natural world, sharing her passion for hunting, books, and nurturing plants. Her green thumb was an extension of her caring nature. She was a self-taught musician, mastering the trombone, piano, and guitar.

Left to cherish her memories are her parents Larry, wife, Rogjanna, and mother, Brandy Michelle Owens, her grandparents, Rodney and Jeroldine Owens, her siblings; Joseph Owens, Annie Shoaf, Zara Shoaf, Emma Raye Farabee, Leighanna Byerly, and Delanna Byerly. She played a vital role in their lives, always offering guidance, love, and support. Her kindness and generosity were immeasurable.

Rachael Audrey Shoaf's untimely departure leaves a void in the hearts of those who knew her, but her memory will forever shine as a beacon of love, joy, and compassion. She was a remarkable young woman who touched the lives of many and will be dearly missed.
Rachael Audrey Shoaf's light may have faded from this world, but it will forever burn brightly in our hearts. May she rest in peace, knowing she was dearly loved and will never be forgotten.
