RAMBLIN WITH RON

Category: RAMBLIN WITH RON

FACTOID!
writes, "Some folks are born with no eyesight, but they learn to overcome and lead productive lives. Like the folks that can not hear, their other senses sharpen up. All of us are born into sin, started with the curse in the garden. Once you have accepted Jesus Christ as your Savior, you have the power for victory over sin. The more we have victory and give God the glory, our other senses will also sharpen up, Discernment, seeing the seed of temptation, broken heart and burden for others. Too many benefits to list. Doesn't mean we become sinless, sin will happen everyday, however we have the forgiveness (Grace) waiting for us. How we use that in our homes and out in public, could determine how others will react to your attitude, keeping in mind we may be the only Bible they will see!
"

PRACTICE
writes, "I never want to get in the habit of saying I'm too busy or have no time.
Today is the first day of the rest of your life. Hit the reset from yesterday and start fresh and put a big smile on that face and Bless some people! I'm so glad I serve a God that welcomes me every morning and doesn't bring up my shortcomings from the day before. But we do learn from them
"

READ ALL OF IT
writes, "Some folks are born with no eyesight, but they learn to overcome and lead productive lives. Like the folks that can not hear, their other senses sharpen up. THINK ABOUT IT
writes, "Facebook can be used as a good thing or a bad thing. Good thing is you can communicate with family and friends that live afar off, even though it shouldn't completely replace human contact. Texting seems to have become the norm, which could be bad as you can't feel the emotion in the text itself. Majority of people read social netword like they would a newspaper, and never make a post. Some never put their own thoughts and start their own dialogue , instead they just copy or share someone else's thoughts, which if you are consistantly doing that , then you are surrendering your own personality to another and of course many times it will be misread or misunderstood by others. If you want the network to work for you in a healthy way then communicate from within. Everybody in the world has their own problems and no one has that perfect life that some would make you think. It's how you react and face your problems that will determine your happiness. The I Phone seems to be replacing the one on one human touch in many Ministries. Some constantly check their phone to see who is on. Folks, I have a lot of Facebook friends and NONE of them is important because of their phone, but it prolly because they are lonely people and that has been substituted as their life. Family or friends should look at life as; to have a friend, you must be a friend and social network really can't take that position. I hope this has helped someone even as I ramble from one thing to another, and as the Lord brought it to my attention and I have decided to call my family (especially) on the phone or if close enough, visit them
"

FACTOID!
writes, "In order to restore the Christian Church and place it where it was in my humble opinion is;
1. Recognize that the office of the Pastor is the highest calling in the land and he and his family are always under attack from the adversary.
2. If you have done something to harm him or his family through deed or gossip, go to him and ask for forgiveness and tell him you would like to make a fresh start.
3. Keep him and his family bathed in prayer. And remember they are human just like you and I.
4. Be faithful in attendance and serve in some capacity according to your gift.
5. And remember we are going to need each other moreso in the coming days as in the days of Noah.
If your heart is burdened for your Pastor, don't be afraid to say I love you to him and his family.
"

NEVER FORGET
writes, "My Dad was always into something new on the market, including seat belts when they first came out. We were very poor, but my Brother and I had fantastic parents and a fantastic relationship. Being the only child at home as my Brother was in the Army and married the love of his life not long after. I didn't even think about being poor and had a wonderful upbring and great memories of my teenage years. Dad knew some folks back in the day that hit it big and then they kind of separated from us. But there is one statement my Dad made that I never forgot. Ron, smile on your way up if you make it to where you want to be, cause you have to pass those same people if or when you come back down."

GOOD FRIENDS
writes, "I put a high value on good friends, This one friend I have never criticized me, just lovingly showed me what to do to correct when I was doing wrong . He is always there whenever I decide to ask for answers regardless how silly they might be to others. He never said hurtful words to me but only showed me how important it is to express love and appreciation to those around me. He only looked down on me one time. When he was nailed to the Cross, and even then he said he said "I Love You". Would to God we would all follow his example and realize the meaning of the word "Christian" is "Christ like". It's not an easy path, but it is a path of success when followed, there is no failure!
A key ingredient in unhappiness is complacency. If you are complacent and happy with waking up and wondering where time has gone and what did I do, then you probably have stayed in your comfort zone and gotten yourself in a rut. Many Church's and business's do the same thing. Step out and do thing's you are not use to. Challenge yourself and set some reachable goals. It won't bring you total happiness but a great start and of course the next would be procrastination and getting nothing done, These are life changers and eliminating them will also help others. If you have created a character in life that you really are not, then you will always be perplexed because of not being real and you will have a hard time living with yourself! You can change and by being yourself!
