Know what? I'm old fashioned and like being that way. I don't like the way the world is going, because I don't have to. I would rather be in my happy place and share that with my family and friends. I love the old doo wop music and classic movies. Call me and label me anything you want but the Lord has allowed me to reach the age of 82 and still working and will until I drop. I really have a hard time sitting around the boob tube and doing nothing, so retirement just doesn't fit into my life. Stay Golden!"

 admin writes, "Don't let facebook replace a relationship with family and friends. Facebook can't see the pain on your face, or the real smile, it can't count the teardrops running down your cheeks. It won't comfort you or give you that human hug that only you can feel. I wouldn't be surprised if it hasn't destroyed some relationships while at the same time found some long lost friends. It's not the real world, only another form of entertainment, so don't let it give you a false sense of popularity because of the amount of friends that you might show in count. Remember, there is someone within your center of influence that needs to know they are loved. Call someone today or tomorrow and tell them you Love them. They may be needing to hear that more than you realize."

| LOVE- the greatest of these gifts |
 admin writes, "Elvis' cousin', Billy Smith shared the following story on his Elvis Fans Matter YouTube channel.
"One day the two were riding in Elvis' limousine when they passed an old colored gentleman and his wife who were trying to push their truck full of wood that had broken down.
Seeing people in need, Elvis stopped and pulled up behind them to offer help.
Elvis, who had not been recognized by the couple, offered to push the truck with his limousine.
But it didn't quite work out, so he went out and offered the old man a ride, which was warmly received.
He then took him to the Oakley Ford car dealership in Memphis.
Billy recalled, “He bought this guy a new truck and I thought that old man was going to faint. I couldn't believe it!”
As he signed the papers for the truck, the car salesman said, "Mr. Presley, is there anything else?"
And then that old man realized who had been so nice to him. But the generosity didn't end there.
Elvis told the old man to drive his new truck to his old truck, where he would meet him there.
He and Billy then helped him move the wood from the old truck to the new one."

Primo Carnera, nicknamed the Ambling Alp, was an Italian professional boxer and wrestler who reigned as the boxing World Heavyweight Champion from 29 June 1933 to 14 June 1934. He won more fights by knockout than any other heavyweight champion in boxing history.
Carnera was the third European to hold the world heavyweight championship after Bob Fitzsimmons and Max Schmeling. He would be the last until Ingemar Johansson claimed the title against Floyd Patterson in 1959, over a quarter of a century later.
Carnera was also the first boxer to win the European Heavyweight title and subsequently become World Heavyweight champion."

| Only a little girl |

A Child's View of Thunderstorms
A little girl walked to and from school daily. Though the weather that morning was questionable and clouds were forming, she made her daily trek to school. As the afternoon progressed, the winds whipped up, along with lightning.
The mother of the little girl felt concerned that her daughter would be frightened as she walked home from school.
She also feared the electrical storm might harm her child. Full of concern, the mother got into her car and quickly drove
along the route to her child's school. As she did, she saw her little girl walking along.
At each flash of lightning, the child would stop, look up, and smile.
More lightning followed quickly and with each, the little girl would look at the streak of light and smile.
When the mother drew up beside the child, she lowered the window and called,
"What are you doing?"
The child answered,
"I am trying to look pretty because God keeps taking my picture."

 admin writes, "What if you woke up in the middle of the night and reached over to put your arm around your spouse and there was nothing but a neatly laid out pair of pajamas? Than you ran through your home looking for her and you discovered your children are missing to and just their PJ's were neatly laid out. Then you start remembering in the middle of the night you heard this shout, but it didn't wake you up. Make sure what you believe is right, for there could be hell to pay if you are wrong. Salvation and Grace is a wonderful thing. "
