Baxter Webster, Jr. May 13, 1942 - December 05, 2022
Baxter Paul Webster, Jr., 80, of Lexington passed away on Monday, December 5, 2022, at the home of his son Kevin.



A graveside service will be held at 11 am on Saturday, December 17, 2022, at Forest Hill Memorial Park with the Rev. Lomax Skinner officiating.



The family will receive friends from 9:30 am until 10:30 am on Saturday at Davidson Funeral Home in Lexington.



Mr. Webster was born in Marion, NC on May 13, 1942, to Baxter Paul Webster, Sr. and Bertha Cornwell Webster. He was a retired superintendent, having worked for the City of Lexington, Electrical Department. Mr. Webster proudly served his country in the US Army during Vietnam where he received a purple heart. He was a loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather whose memory will be cherished forevermore. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, DeeAnn Koonts Webster; and his daughter, Paula Bean.

Mamie Elizabeth Bauguess Adams, 66, of Davidson County, passed away Sunday, December 11, 2022.

Mamie was born on June 1, 1956, in Surry County, to Mr. William Bauguess and Marjorie Bauguess.

She spent most of her life as a homemaker, caring for her family whom she loved dearly. She is remembered for loving to knit and crochet, as it used to be one of her favorite pastimes. She is preceded in death by her parents.

Ronnie was born on November 27, 1966, in Somerset County, NJ, to Mr. Ronald Frederick Apgar and Mrs. Adelle Hoy Apgar. He worked many years as an LED Layer for Z3 Letters and Signs and was a long-time member of Am Vets. Ronnie was known to be a home body and loved his fur baby who he would spoil. He is preceded in death by his parents.

Stephen Dale Long February 26, 1949 - December 10, 2022
Stephen Dale Long, of Welcome left his earthly home on December 10, 2022, at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center to enter his heavenly home with his Lord and Savior.

Born in Forsyth County February 26, 1949, to Walter Woodrow Sr. and Elizabeth Motsinger Long. His parents and a son in law, Adrian Craven preceded him in death.

He proudly served his country in The United States Coast Guard. He was a electrician for Atrium Health Wake Forest Medical Center retiring in 2016 after 40 years of service. He presently serves as Chair of The Davidson County Zoning Committee.

Steve was a dedicated member of Center Church of Welcome, NC where a celebration of his life will be 2:00 pm Wednesday December 14, 2022, by Pastor Mitchell Wilson officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service in the Christian Fellowship Hall from 12:30 until 2:00 pm prior to the service. He was a member of the Good Samaritan Sunday School Class and Mission Team.

Mrs. Inez Hulin Sexton, age 96 of Denton died Saturday, December 10 at Mountain Vista Health Park.\



A graveside service will be held Tuesday, December 13 at 11:00 AM at Gravel Hill Baptist Church Cemetery conducted by Rev. Claudie Harrison.



Mrs. Sexton was born April 16, 1926 in Randolph County to Elzie Odell Hulin land Lillie Mae McDowell Sexton. She at worked as a seamstress at Thornton Knitting Company and in the housekeeping department of Mountain Vista Health Park. She was a member of Gravel Hill Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Fred Lloyd Sexton, her parents, a daughter Virginia Elbertson, brothers Dewey Hulin, and Dalton Hulin and sisters, Lois Hunt, Doris Steed and Anna Mae Sexton.

Carolyn Janette Partin April 12, 1941 - December 10, 2022
Carolyn Janette Mills Partin, 81, of Lexington, passed away Saturday, December 10, 2022, at Hospice of Davidson County.



A graveside service will be held 10 am Thursday, December 15, 2022, at Forest Hill Memorial Park Mausoleum with Rev. James D. Messer Jr. officiating.



The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 5:00 PM Wednesday, December 14, at Davidson Funeral Home.



Mrs. Partin was born April 12, 1941, in Johnson County to Hurlee Mills and Louise Benson Mills. She was a member of Pilgrim Freewill Baptist Church. Carolyn loved spending time with her family; she loved to laugh and spent much of her time taking care of her many cats. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Evey Harves Partin.

Carolyn Whitaker Fitzgerald November 23, 1939 - December 10, 2022
Carolyn Christine Whitaker Fitzgerald 83 of Winston Salem passed away Saturday December 10, 2022, at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. A celebration of her life will be at a later date.

Ms. Fitzgerald was born November 23, 1939, in Davidson County to Charles Henry Whitaker and Effie McElrath Whitaker. Her husband, William Fitzgerald and a brother, Charles Whitaker, all preceded her in death.

Surviving are her daughter, Penny Shoaf Wilkes of Clemmons. Two sons, Robbie Shoaf and Eddie Shoaf (Beverly) all of Winston Salem. Grandchildren: Jason Wilkes, Tiffany Blackburn, Josh Shoaf, Bradley Shoaf, Karley Shoaf, Kristine Shoaf and Dustin Shoaf. Great Grandchildren: McKenzie Wilkes, Max Wilkes, Sam Blackburn, Olivia Blackburn, Emma Blackburn, and Abigail Nieto. Also surviving are a brother, Gary Whitaker of Lexington.
