| Mary Winchester October 22, 1930 — December 19, 2025 Linwood |
Mary Winchester, 95, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, December 19, 2025.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, at Forest Hill Memorial Park, with Rev. Jimmy Greene officiating.
No formal visitation will be held.
Mary was born on October 22, 1930, in Swain County, North Carolina, to Lawrence Columbus Winchester and Sarah DeHart Winchester. She was a faithful member of Higher Ground Baptist Church and was known as a loving and caring woman who deeply cherished her family. Her kindness, quiet strength, and devotion to those she loved will be fondly remembered.

In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her brothers, Frank, Ben, Fred, Joe, Carl, Elbert, and Jack Winchester, and her sister, Nell Icenhower.
Left to cherish her memory are her numerous nieces and nephews, as well as her great-nieces and great-nephews, all of whom she loved dearly.
