| Doris Griffin Dellinger January 19, 1951 — November 27, 2025 Winston Salem |
Doris Griffin Dellinger, 74, of Brentwood Road in Winston-Salem, passed away Thursday, November 27th, 2025, at Pennyburn Nursing Home in High Point.
Born on January 19th, 1951, in Forsyth County, Doris was the daughter to the late Roy Jasper Griffin Jr. and Erma Portis Griffin. Doris worked for many years at Hanes Brands, but her true life’s work, her greatest pride and joy, was caring for her family. Doris had a gift for loving people fiercely and without any hesitation. She raised her children and grandchildren with unwavering devotion, stepping into every role life asked of her with quiet strength, honor, and a deep sense of responsibility.
Whether cheering from the bleachers, offering a listening ear, or simply showing up when she was needed the most, Doris was the steady center of her family. Her home was a place where everyone felt supported, understood, and unconditionally loved.
