Mary Payne, 81, of Davidson County, passed away Thursday, October 23, 2025, at her home with her devoted family by her side.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 PM, Monday evening, October 27, 2025, at Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington.

A funeral service will proceed the following day, Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at 2:00 PM, at Reeds United Methodist Church with Pastor Ray Morgan officiating.

The committal service will conclude services in the church cemetery.

Edgar “Ed” Jackson Flinchum, IV, 50, passed away Thursday, October 23, 2025, at his home in Lexington.

Graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, October 30, 2025, at Skyline Memorial Gardens in Mt. Airy. His family will visit with friends following the service.

Ed was born December 29, 1974, in Surry County to the late Edgar Jackson Flinchum III and Evelyn Kaye Flinchum. He retired from Deloitte. Pa Ed – lover of disc golf, baseball, music, movies, and moments with loved ones.

Larry Dan Rowe April 24, 1940 — October 22, 2025
Larry Dan Rowe, 85, of Lexington, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 22, 2025, at Hinkle Hospice House. A lifelong resident of Lexington, Larry was born on April 24, 1940, to the late Virgil Olden Rowe and Ruby Pearl Crotts Rowe.

Larry honorably served his country in the United States Air Force, where he developed the quiet strength, bravery, and integrity that would define him throughout his life. A simple and humble man, Larry was known for his intelligence, gentle spirit, and love of family. He enjoyed traveling to sunny destinations—especially Myrtle Beach and Las Vegas—and treasured every trip spent with those he loved most. Above all, he adored his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who brought him endless pride and joy. Larry also had a special place in his heart for his three beloved cats: Tinker Bell, Raven, and Sandy.

Evelyn Leonard Mann, 88, of Davidson County, passed away peacefully on October 23rd, 2025. Born on August 3rd, 1937, in Davidson County, she was the daughter of the late David Delmar Leonard and Perry Lucille Everhart Leonard.

A lifelong resident of her beloved hometown, Evelyn met the love of her life, Harold Blaine Mann, while in high school. The two shared an extraordinary bond and celebrated 71 beautiful years of marriage together.

Brenda Kaye McKinney, age 77, of Silver Chase Court, Winston-Salem, N.C. passed away at her residence on October 22, 2025.

A memorial service will be held on a time to be determined on November 22, 2025 at Flint Hill Baptist Church in Ft. Mill, S.C. with Rev. Evans Jackson Newell and Rev. Wayne Deffinger officiating. Inurnment will be at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church Cemetery in Indian Land, S.C.

She is preceded in death by her parents, a Brother, William Morgan McKinney, Jr. and his wife Margaret; and 3 sisters, Pasty E. Ghant and her husband Niven, Shirley McKinney Newell and her husband Jackson and Patricia McKinney.
