| Colleen Nance Pinson November 14, 1924 — November 8, 2025 Asheboro |
Evelyn Colleen Nance Pinson, 100, died Saturday, November 8, 2025 at Mountain Vista Health Park in Denton. A Celebration of Life Service will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, November 12, 2025 at Briggs Funeral Home Memorial Chapel, with Nephew Steve Nance officiating and LoriAnn Little Owen, vocalist. Burial will follow in the Denton Town Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10-10:45 AM prior to the service on Wednesday at Briggs Funeral Home.
Born in Davidson County on November 14, 1924, she was the daughter of Thomas Troy and Sadie Cranford Nance. Colleen was a 1941 graduate of Denton High School. She was a member of Latimer Memorial Methodist Church in Belton SC, and was a seamstress with Maynard’s Home Furnishings, making drapery. She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Benjamin Wyatt Pinson, and two brothers, Jack Cranford Nance and Larry Little.

Melissa Renee Routh, 45, of Briarcliff Drive of Lexington NC, died Wednesday, November 5 at her home.
A memorial service will be held at 2pm Saturday, November 15 at First Baptist Church, by the Rev. Dr. Ray Howell III. Inurnment will follow in the church columbarium.
The family will receive friends following the service in the church fellowship hall.

Charles “Charlie” Ward Jr.. 83, of Shamrock Drive in Lexington, went to be with his Lord and Saviour on Friday November 7, 2025 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home, in Winston Salem, NC.
A funeral service will be held 2:00 Wednesday November 12, 2025 at Pilgrim Reformed Church, where he was a member, with Rev. Richard Moore officiating services. Burial with Military Graveside Rites,will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Tuesday at Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel.

Our hearts are heavy as we share that Eston Egbert Craven III, age 62, of Fuquay-Varina, NC, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 7, 2025, at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home in Winston-Salem.
Eston was born on February 10, 1963, in Guilford County to Eston Egbert Craven Jr. and Nancy Ritter Craven. From the start, he brought laughter and kindness wherever he went. He was a devoted son and brother, and a friend to just about everyone who met him. Eston was a member of Calvary Raleigh Church and spent many years working as a salesman with La-Z-Boy before retiring.

Dietmar "Dete" Herman Faulkner, 78, of Thomasville, passed away November 6, 2025, at his home.
Burial will be at 10:00 AM at Salisbury National Cemetery with US Air Force Military Honors. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Monday, November 17, 2025, at East End Baptist Church.
The family will visit with friends Sunday, November 16, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at East End Baptist Church.

Kenneth V. Hirsch Sr., 72, of Lexington, passed away Thursday, November 6, 2025, at his home surrounded by his loved ones.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, November 18, 2025, at Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel. Burial will follow at Salisbury National Cemetery.
The family will receive family and friends from 10:00 am till 11:00 am, prior to service.
Kenneth was born November 11, 1952, in Nassau County, New York to the late Otto Vincent and Concetta Amaro Hirsch. He proudly served his country in the US Air Force, loved spending time with his family, fishing and working on his classic cars with best friend Sam.

Phillip “Phil” Webster Zimmerman passed away Wednesday November 5, 2025. Born to the late Webb and Bennetta Zimmerman, Phil lived his entire life in the Northern Davidson County area. Phil was a proud teamster, working for McLean & Yellow Trucking. He earned many awards for being a safe driver, driving millions of miles without incident. Once retired, he farmed the family land, always growing an overwhelming garden to share with friends and family. He, along with his wife and daughter, Anna, raised, bred, and showed paint horses.
