Evelyn Gail Leonard Hutchins, 88, of W. Center Street Ext. passed away Wednesday November 5, 2025, at her home.
A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM, Monday, November 10, 2025, at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Rev. Gary Gibson officiating services. Burial will follow at Forest Hill.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1:00 to 2:00 PM.

Charles Douglas “Doug” Leonard, age 74, of Floyd Church Road, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 4,2025 at his home.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, November 9 at Central Baptist Church on Highway 47, with Rev. Jeff Purdue officiating.
Burial will follow in the Cotton Grove Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 PM Sunday prior to the service and other times at the home.
Doug was born on October 19, 1951, in Davidson County to CA and Peggy Leonard. He was a project manager for Forsyth Mechanical for 35 years which entailed remodeling JC Penney.

William Howard Robbins, 80, of Lexington, NC passed away peacefully after a long illness on November 3, 2025 at Hospice of the Piedmont in High Point, NC. Following his wishes, no viewing, visitation or services are planned.
He was born October 12, 1945 in Rocky Mount, NC to Calvin and Sue Robbins. He graduated from Benvenue High School where he claimed the nickname “Benvenue Bull” because of his notable football history there.
He spent many years of his adult life in the asphalt and concrete paving industry in Rocky Mount, Charlotte, High Point and Raleigh holding many positions as equipment operator, customer service, plant foreman, plant manager and estimating and sales until his retirement in 2016.

Karen Sue Warner Kernstine, 86 of Cow Palace Road in Lexington, passed away Saturday November 1, 2025 at her home.
A graveside service will be held at National Cemetery in Salisburywith Rev. David Langley officiating.
Mrs. Kernstine was born December 2, 1938 in Davidson County to Irving Lloyd Warner and Thelma McLeod Warner. Karen was a member of Second Reformed UCC and enjoyed reading and especially spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Martha Kay Lanier, a cherished member of the New Hope Community, passed away peacefully at her residence in Denton, North Carolina, on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at the age of 73. Born on October 21, 1952, in Davidson County, she was the beloved daughter of the late Homer James Lanier and Bessie Mae Shaw Lanier.
Martha, fondly known as Kay, led a life filled with devotion and hard work, having spent many years as a seamstress in the textile industry with the Sara Lee Corporation. Her craftsmanship was a testament to her dedication and skill.
A faithful member of Calvary Gospel Church, Kay demonstrated her unwavering commitment to her faith and her community. Throughout her life, she found joy and fulfillment in nurturing her spiritual connections, which were a source of strength for her and those around her.
