| Libby Elizabeth Holder December 7, 1948 — December 1, 2025 Lexington |
Ruth “Libby” Elizabeth Holder, 76, passed away Monday December 1, 2025, at Novant Forsyth Medical Center in Winston Salem, NC.
There will be no formal services held at this time.
Mrs. Holder was born December 7, 1948, in Davison County to Everett Lindsey Younts and Ida Lee Thomason Younts. Libby enjoyed shopping, was very active in The Eastern Star and loved vacationing at the beach. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Brian Barber, and Derek Barber; one brother, Turner Younts; and one sister, Hilda Penninger.
Surviving is her husband, Lewis Martin Holder, of the home; one brother, Johnny Thomason; one grandchild, Brandy; two nieces, Johnnie Musgrave and Susan Bryant; one stepson, Mark Holder; one stepdaughter, Jennifer Atkinson; and Goddaughter, MacKenzie Bryant.

Surrounded by his loving family, Reggie Glenn Smith died peacefully at his home in Southmont, North Carolina, on November 28, 2025, at the age of 79, after several years of courageously battling dementia and Alzheimer’s disease.
Born on April 30, 1946, in Davidson County, Reggie was the only child of the late Orin Glenn Smith and Maxine Reid Smith. He was a devoted family man whose life revolved around those he loved.
He leaves behind his beloved wife of 59 years, Delores Kennedy Smith. He is also survived by his children, Scott Smith (Andrea) of Greenville, SC, and Lori (Lance) Scarlett of Rutherfordton, NC; his five grandchildren, Chris Scarlett (Cassie), Samuel Scarlett (Mary), Lily Smith, Eli Scarlett (Hailey), and Clay Smith; and seven great-grandchildren: Rylan, Lincoln, Kashyn, Gwendolyn, Wren, Adeline, and Lily.

Terry Wayne Willard, 69, of Forsyth County, passed away on Thursday, November 27th, 2025. He was born to the late Wilborn Andrew Willard and Mildred Louise Shelton Willard on November 1st, 1956.
Terry is preceded in death by his parents. Surviving him are his brother Andy Willard (Tammy), and his sister Marsha Williams (Donald). Terry had a great passion for fishing and spending time out doors.

Doris Griffin Dellinger, 74, of Brentwood Road in Winston-Salem, passed away Thursday, November 27th, 2025, at Pennyburn Nursing Home in High Point.
Born on January 19th, 1951, in Forsyth County, Doris was the daughter to the late Roy Jasper Griffin Jr. and Erma Portis Griffin. Doris worked for many years at Hanes Brands, but her true life’s work, her greatest pride and joy, was caring for her family. Doris had a gift for loving people fiercely and without any hesitation. She raised her children and grandchildren with unwavering devotion, stepping into every role life asked of her with quiet strength, honor, and a deep sense of responsibility.
Whether cheering from the bleachers, offering a listening ear, or simply showing up when she was needed the most, Doris was the steady center of her family. Her home was a place where everyone felt supported, understood, and unconditionally loved.

| Pete Kent Jones III July 19, 1933 — November 25, 2025 Lexington |
Peter Franklin Jones III “Pete”, 92, of Welcome, NC passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by family. He was born on July 19, 1933, in Laurinburg, NC to Peter “Frank” and Margaret “Madge” Jones. He was the only son with four sisters: Peggy (Jack), Julia (Don), Carolyn (Eddie), and Gerry (Steve). He grew up working on the family farm and had fond memories of riding with his dad while making various deliveries. This is where he learned the value of a dollar and how to save it. He was jokingly known to his friends as “cheap Pete”.
After graduating from Laurinburg High School, he tried his hand at seed delivery, but after wrecking a few too many trucks, he took the hint and joined the Navy. As part of the Seabees, he served in Japan and the Philippines, building roads, airstrips, and playing baseball whenever he could. He kept the baseball streak going at Elon University, where he also met his wife, Rita.

Amber Nicole Everhart Richardson, 35, passed away, Sunday, November 23rd, 2025, in Wake County. She was born on May 14th, 1991, in Davidson County to her father, Timothy Everhart.
Amber lived her life with an adventurous heart and a free spirit. She loved the open road, especially when riding her motorcycle, and found peace in the outdoors, whether she was fishing, traveling, or simply soaking in the beauty of the world around her. She also enjoyed cooking for those she loved and was especially known for her delicious Shepherd's pie. Her enthusiasm for life was contagious, and she brought joy and warmth to everyone blessed to know her.
