Winfred Charles Kinley February 2, 2004 — December 12, 2025 Denton
Winfred Charles Kinley, aged 71, of Chapel Wood Rd., Denton, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on December 12, 2025, at Hinkle Hospice House. Born on February 7, 1954, in Davidson County, he was the beloved son of the late Joseph "Joe" Roosevelt Kinley and late Iva Ruth Summey Kinley.

Winfred graduated from Southwestern Randolph High School, class of 1972, and established a successful career as a certified pipe welder. Known for his keen skills in his trade, he was admired by colleagues and friends alike. Outside of work, Winfred was a man of many interests and hobbies. He found joy in gardening, racing, and was a devoted fan of Dale Earnhardt. He was also a passionate coin collector and arrowhead collector, often finding tranquility in these pursuits. He had attended Free Pilgrim Holiness Church in Archdale.

Lenora Brelsford October 29, 1933 — December 11, 2025 Lexington
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Lenora Brelsford, who peacefully departed this life on December 11, 2025, in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

Lenora was born on October 20, 1933, in Cook County, to Nicholas Peter Ahrens and Lenora Alice Ahrens. Lenora lived a full life, marked by love, kindness, and a warm spirit.

Lenora was a devoted wife to her beloved Roy Robert Brelsford, who preceded her in passing, also her daughter, Elaine Marie Harwood.

She is survived by her son, Robert Alan Brelsford wife Latisha of Midway; daughters, Lenora Ann Lawler and husband Douglas of Abingdon, Va., Susan Louise Little and husband Tony of Indian trail, NC, Carol Lynn Garris and husband Jeff of Winston-Salem, 16 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren, who will forever carry her memory in their heart.

Kaye Lohr Harris July 5, 1955 — December 11, 2025 Lexington
Kaye Lohr Harris, 70, of Davidson County, passed away Thursday, December 11, 2025, at 5:30 PM, at Lexington Health Care.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:00 PM, Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at Wesley Heights United Methodist Church.

A funeral will follow the visitation at the church with Pastor Joe Barbee and Pastor Jay Belk officiating.

Burial will conclude services at Forest Hill Memorial Park.

Kaye was born on July 5, 1955, in Davidson County, to the late Reid Lohr and Anita Tennat Lohr. She worked for many years at First Union Bank and Lexington Middle school and was a beloved presence at each location. Kaye was known as the one who had all the answers any time there was a question at the bank or the school, and she would offer help as often and in any way she could when it was needed.

Sandra Lee Beck November 2, 1939 — December 10, 2025 East Bend
Sandra Lee Hilton Beck, 86, of Yadkin County, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, December 10, 2025.

A service will be held on Saturday, December 27, 2025, at 4:00 PM, at Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel with Barney Jones officiating.

Sandra was born on November 2, 1939, in Davidson County, to the late Dewey Odell Hilton and Leah Richey Hilton. She worked for many years as a teller until her retirement from LSB. She was a dedicated member of Life Point Church and attended for as long as she could.

Sandra enjoyed spending time basket weaving and teaching her family how to patiently and lovingly work the craft alongside her. Spending time with family and friends was important to her and playing board games, especially Yahtzee, was a favorite pastime. Her ultimate hobby was shopping, and she would spend an entire day perusing various stores and finding treasures for herself and others.

Jeana dedicated her life to caring for her home and her family. As a homemaker, she poured love, intention, and quiet resilience into everything she did. She had a natural warmth that made people feel welcomed and understood, and she carried a gentle spirit that left a lasting impact on everyone blessed to know her.

Jean "Jeannie" Carroll Belk, 58, of Lexington, passed away on Friday, December 5, 2025.

Jeannie was born in Albemarle on August 25, 1967, to Robert Dean and Jean Forbes Carroll. She attended Albemarle Senior High School and Appalachian State University. Jeannie was presented at the 1986 North Carolina State Debutante Ball. A loving wife and mother with a deep dedication to her community, Jeannie was an active member of the Charity League of Lexington and First Baptist Church, where she was instrumental in forming the Family Matters Sunday School Class. She also served as Athletic Director at Davidson Academy; there, she coached for many years and founded both the first youth soccer program and the British Soccer Camp.

Jeannie was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Faith Anne Morgan. Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Brad Belk; daughters, Caroline (Joe) and Meredith Belk; brother, Dean Carroll; nephews, Drew Morgan (Katerina), Robert Carroll, Emerson and Montgomery Belk; niece, Faith Morgan; cousins, Julie Lewis and Anne Harrington; in-laws, Lynda and Fred Belk; and brother and sister-in-law, Brian and Heather Belk.

Lois Ann Owens Gray, 74, passed away on December 6th, 2025, in Davidson County. She was born in Cumberland County, Tennessee, on September 15, 1951. She was the cherished daughter of the late William Lewis Owens and Frances Josephine Jeffers Owens.

Lois lived a life rooted in love, compassion, and devotion to her family. She adored every moment spent with those she held dear, and her gentle nature made her a constant source of warmth and comfort. As a mother, she was steadfast, supportive, and endlessly nurturing; always ready with encouragement, guidance, and a listening ear.
