Carol Mae Seward Piczko |
Carol Mae Seward Piczko, aged 88, of Denton, NC, passed away peacefully on June 3, 2025, at Hinkle Hospice House in Lexington. Born in New Castle, PA, she was the beloved daughter of Williston Lane Seward and Virginia Elizabeth Flemming Seward.
Carol leaves behind a loving family, including her children John Petrozelle, Tammy Petrozelle, and Robin Intoppa, her brother Gary Lee Seward and his wife Cathy, her sister Susan Wolfe, eight cherished grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. She was predeceased by her parents, her brother Donald Lane Seward, and her sister Janet Inman.

Leslie Bailey Hall Jr., age 82, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. A memorial service celebrating his life will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 8, 2025, at the Davidson Funeral Home Chapel, with Chaplain Chris officiating. Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation one hour prior to the service. Born in Richmond, Virginia, on July 28, 1942, Leslie was the son of the late Leslie Bailey Hall Sr. and Virginia Sublett Hall. He honorably served his country in the United States Navy, a time that helped shape his strong work ethic and steadfast spirit. Following his service, Leslie built a successful career and eventually retired from Interstate Brands, having worked many years as manager and route salesman, where he was known for his dedication and leadership.
Leslie was a man who cherished the simple joys of life. He was an avid outdoorsman with a deep love for bass fishing and hunting, passions that brought him both peace and adventure. His presence was steady, his humor quick, and his devotion to family unwavering.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Sharon Tomlin and sisters, Lois, Peggy and Teresa. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 51 years, Norena Atkinson Hall; his sons, Shawn Hall and Troy Hall; daughters Leslie Bazemore (Joey), Michelle Hall, and Kimberly Nichols (George); his brother, Steve; and his sisters, Lorraine, Barbara, and Patricia. Leslie was a proud grandfather and great-grandfather to many, and his legacy of love and strength will live on through each of them.

Born on June 29, 1944—just 23 days after D-Day—in Meadville, PA, LaVaughn was the daughter of Edward and Agnes Boyle. Raised in the countryside on a 43-acre farm, she nurtured a deep love for animals, especially horses, and was active in her local 4-H club. After high school, she trained and worked as a telephone operator.
