Dennis Thompson
Dennis George Thompson, 65 of Lexington, North Carolina passed away Wednesday, May 21, 2025 at Wake Forest Baptist Hospital in Winston Salem, North Carolina surrounded by his loved ones.



Dennis was born February 1, 1960 in Moore County, North Carolina, to Leon G. Thompson and Lois Tilley Thompson Hall. He was a beloved son, husband, father, grandpa and brother. He loved the outdoors, building houses and working with his hands. As well as fishing, hunting and spending time with his family and friends. He really loved his furry companion Lee, most of the time if you saw Dennis, you saw Lee. Dennis never met a stranger.

Ken was born in Davidson County on September 15, 1942, to the late Willis Fred Clodfelter and Mildred Mock Clodfelter. He is preceded in death by his parents, his brother Harrell Clodfelter, and his brother-in-law Gene Hinsdale

Hubert Elcoe Boroughs
Hubert Elcoe Boroughs, 83, of Jackson Springs, died Sunday, May 18, 2025 at FirstHealth Hospice and Palliative Care in West End. Memorial Service will be 11:00 AM Saturday, May 24, 2025 at Jackson Springs Presbyterian Church. A reception for friends and family will follow the services on Saturday.
Born in Moore County on February 9, 1942, Hubert was the son of Fulton Elcoe and Beatrice Ruby Lisk Boroughs. He was a member of the Jackson Springs Presbyterian Church and a veteran of the US Air Force. He was retired from Stanley Furniture. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Ray Boroughs.

Rosa Lomax Paquin
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Rosa Paquin, a cherished mother, friend, and neighbor, on Wednesday, May 21st, 2025 at her home.

Her journey encompassed over 82 vibrant years filled with love, laughter, and unwavering strength. A service will be held 11:00 am Wednesday, May 28, at Smith Grove Baptist Church with Pastor Terry Smith officiating, burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm Tuesday, May 27 at Davidson Funeral, Lexington, North Carolina. Rosa was born on Sunday, November 15th, 1942, in Davidson County to William Harold Lomax and Annie Pauline Koontz Lomax. She was a member of Smith Grove Baptist Church where she was a former choir member. Rosa enjoyed bowling, growing roses and most of all spending time with her grand and great grandchildren.

He was 83 years old.Born on February 11, 1942, in Scranton, Pennsylvania, Ralph was the beloved son of the late Louis and Victoria Pane. A man of quiet strength and unwavering dedication, Ralph lived a life defined by hard work, service, and deep devotion to his family.He served his country proudly in the United States Army and went on to build a successful career as an engineering manager with Thompson Consumer Electronics. Ralph was known for his sharp mind, steady leadership, and integrity in both his professional and personal life.
